Children help create and participate in two "low-stress" performances each year. The emphasis remains on learning, loving and enjoyment rather than anxiety-producing tryouts and exhausting rehearsal schedules. All children are fully involved regardless of body, stature, and ability. Both the Spring Dance Recital and The Nutcracker Sweets are open to the public. Last year 3000 elementary children from the Anchorage area attended the Nutcracker Sweets. This is a fully costumed production of the famous ballet, written by Hoffman with music by Tchiakovsky.

This years Nutcracker Sweets performances will be held on Friday Dec. 4th 10:00 a.m and Saturday Dec. 5th at 2:00 p.m.
